Thomas E. Didio


Thomas E. Didio is a Director at Black Bear Asset Management (“BBAM”).  As a Director at BBAM, Mr. Didio sources and evaluates investments in accordance with the firm's investment criteria, places debt, facilitates related transactions, and is integrally involved in the firm’s operations.  Prior to BBAM, Mr. Didio was an Underwriter at Freddie Mac.  While at Freddie Mac, he was responsible for underwriting multifamily transactions from Maine to Washington, D.C. as well as facilitating the securitization of debt through the firm's K-Series program. Through his tenure, Mr. Didio underwrote over 100 transactions, totaling more than $1.25 billion in first mortgage debt.

Tom is a graduate of Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts where he was a four-year starter at offensive line on the Jumbos Football team. He is currently an active member of the Bergen Catholic Football Alumni Club, member of True Mentors (Hoboken, NJ) and a Eucharistic Minister at his local parish, St. Ann's. Outside of work, Tom enjoys following his alumni football programs (Bergen Catholic & Tufts), golfing and skiing.
